First, you submit a service request with details about the work to be done. We can then schedule a 30-minute call to go over the specifics and any questions. You can even send us a sample paragraph to look over, edit or translate if you feel more comfortable “testing” our fit. We take understanding your needs very seriously. Once you book our services, we are committed to providing you a high-quality, reliable and fast service that will leave you completely satisfied. Depending on the nature of the work, we may fine-tune the end-result to your specifications in an optional second-round of feedback.
How do I pay once I receive your quote? The invoice for the work is payable at the start of the work, upon confirmation of our quote. This is because our team reserves time to complete your work over others clients' contracts. Please read our Terms of Service for more information.
The service I need is not listed on your site. Could I still ask for a quote? Absolutely! We have listed the services that are typically requested. If you require a different service, do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail or by filling out the service form (academic, business, community) and detailing how your task differs from those listed on our website. For example, you can still contact us if you are looking for a social media manager for a period of time, or if your text exceeds the limit listed on the service page, or you need a different type of work translated. We will determine if our expertise matches your needs and, if it does. we will send you a customized quote within 24 hours.
I am very protective of my intellectual property. Can I trust you with my work? We get you! We value intellectual property and are protective of our work as well. We accept to sign your non-disclosure agreements if that sets you more at ease. We are committed to serving you with integrity and respect.
What if I am not satisfied with your work after I have already paid for a service or membership? We take pride in tailoring our services to the needs you articulate in your initial service request and/or consultation call. Before and during the work, we contact you with an update with any questions or hesitations we might have. Despite these preventative measures, if you are still dissatisfied with the end result, please contact us with details within 10 days and we will try out utmost to make it right.
If you are an annual member but no longer see the benefit after a first service was completed, you have 30 days within the completion of that first service to opt out of the annual membership. You would then only pay for service you obtained (at the non-membership price) and be credited the rest of your membership.
If you are NOT an annual member and you are dissatisfied with the individual service you received, you have 10 days within the completion of that first service to contact us about your dissatisfaction.
I am not sure yet if I will benefit from the membership. Is there a trial period? There is no official trial period for the annual membership. However, we have a risk-free policy on memberships! You may book an individual service as a non-member and choose to opt in to the membership within 30 days of the completion of that first service. You would then receive a credit for the difference in fee for non-members vs. members. You would also be eligible to receive all the perks members receive. However, any promotions on membership packages (e.g., special launch price) are only valid for new memberships or opt-ins within that promotional period. You cannot opt-in at the promotional price once the promo has ended. The annual membership is great for anyone who requires regular help or who is looking to outsource a particular type of work over a period of time. If you are interested in two or more services & perks, consider giving the annual membership a try with our risk-free policy.
I am not sure my research grant or affiliation would reimburse these costs. Can you provide an estimate? Yes, we provide quotes within 24 hours of when you contact us through the service request form or by e-mail. You can then submit this quote to your university or employer. Each quote details the type of service provided, its individual components, what is included, optional upgrades available, the time estimate for the work and the investment involved. We understand the importance of assessing your budget allocated to these services. Bear in mind that, with its wide range of expertise, Mōmentum may be an easier and faster solution for you than hiring an assistant (or several assistants) to do parts of this work!
